Richard Bogle, age 68, resident of Spring Hill, passed away on Thursday, August 02, 2018 at his residence.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 4th at 11AM at the Catholic Church of the Nativity with Father John Kirk officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Resurrection in Maury Memorial Gardens with Military Honors provided by the United States Marines, located adjacent to Heritage Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 9AM until 10:30AM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Richard was born in Milan, TN and was the son of the late Albert R. Bogle and the late Dorothy J. Bogle. He served in the Marine Corps for a year and a half and did three tours back to back in Vietnam. When he got out of the Marine Corps he went to re up in the Marines and they wouldn’t take him because of his age. So the Navy accepted him and he served ten years with them. He later worked as a truck driver for A&M of Tennessee. He was a member of the Catholic Church of the Nativity in Thompsons Station. He enjoyed fantasy sports.
He is survived by his wife Teresa Raborn Bogle; sons: Richard (Tiffany) Bogle, Blake Bogle, Brian Raborn, and Daniel (Heather) Woods; daughters: Cherra (Chad) Wammock and Crystal Lee.
