Kevin Louis Southall

April 23, 1963 - July 15, 2018

Mr. Kevin Louis Southall, son of the late John Henry Jr. and Ora Elizabeth Southall, was born in Maury County, TN on April 23, 1963. He was called home to rest on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Elder Melvin Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8PM and again on Saturday from 1-2PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Kevin received his education in the Maury County School System. He accepted Christ in his life at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Columbia, TN. He also attended various other churches.

He worked for Shippers Paper Products in Mt. Pleasant, TN for nine years. He had various other jobs.  His most recent job was working for Atco Industries in Spring Hill, TN at the GM plant.

To know him was to love him because he always greeted you with a smile. He was a loving person. If you needed help doing anything, he would say I will be right there.  He loved to DJ, detail cars play dominos, tell jokes and most of all, he was the best at imitating anyone.  He also loved to cook.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ora Southall, Sister Belinda Southall and great nephew Javon Southall.

He will be lovingly remembered by his brothers, Thomas (Yvonne) Southall (Warsaw, IN), Gregory Southall (Warsaw, IN), Buford Southall (Indianapolis IN) and Edward Southall (Mt. Pleasant, TN); sisters, Jacqueline L. (William – Tobie) Claude (Mt. Pleasant, TN) and Patricia Southall (Columbia, TN); aunts, Hixsie M. Taylor (Nashville, TN), Lily Hogue (Louisville, KY), Onelia Southall (Chicago, IL) Jewell Fennessee (Mt. Pleasant, TN); one great aunt, Lillie Sewell (Columbia, TN); nieces, Kristian Claude, Candace (Kenneth) Sales, Chelsea and Keah Southall; nephews, Stevon, Corey and Curtis Southall; two great nephews, Isiahain and Santana Southall; a loving and devoted companion, Margaret Bullock; devoted family and friends, Joseph Fennessee, Curtis Southall, Ramona Secrest and Fannie Wells; also an extended amount of other loving cousins and devoted friends.

Pallbearers will be: Tony Hogue, Don Aiden, Will Harris, Joseph Fennessee, William Greene, Albert Lane, and Clarence Carter. Nieces and cousins will serve as flower girls.
