Linda G. Luna, age 71, a resident of Columbia, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2018 at her home.
A celebration of life service will be held Friday, July 13th at 11AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Joseph Wells officiating. Inurnment will follow at Lynnwood Cemetery in Lynnville. The family will also visit with friends on Friday from 9-11AM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born May 16, 1947 in Maury County, Linda was the daughter of the late Edward Crumley and the late Lena Mai Cantrell Crumley. She was owner and operator of CNL Best Way and worked for Betty’s Parkway Restaurant for eighteen years. She enjoyed doing calligraphy as well as drawing and coloring in adult coloring books. Linda enjoyed Friday visits from her church friends who often brought her a box lunch. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons: Monte Luna of Clifton, Kyle (Aimee) Luna of Columbia; grandchildren: Chance, Heath, Blake and Bailee Luna, Shana and Will Greggs; daughters-in-law: Jeanette Greggs, Deborah Luna; sisters: Betty (Louie) Bond, Geraldine (David) Wise, both of Leoma; brother-in-law: Pete Kelley; cousin: Patsy Graves, who took care of her in the beginning; niece: Alicia Wise, who gave her the very best care the last days of her life; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great great nieces and nephews; special friends: Peggy Poore and Phyllis Thomason; and her special miniature Dachshund: Ellie.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Monte Eugene Luna and her sister: Grace Kelly.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Romany Johnpulle and her Palliative care nurse Karen Hyden for all their special care.
