Sharon M. Contreras

September 29, 1954 - June 13, 2018

Mrs. Sharon Mae Contreras, age 63, a resident of Columbia, passed away Wednesday morning, June 13, 2018 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Grace in Maury Memorial Gardens, located adjacent to Heritage Funeral Home.  A visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on September 29, 1954 in Columbia, Sharon was the daughter of the late James Williams and the late Mattie Brown Williams. She was a loving mother and devoted wife who enjoyed catering to her family and helping people any chance she could. Sharon was an excellent cook who loved all animals.

She is survived by her husband: Rogelio Contreras of Columbia; son: James Contreras of Columbia; daughter: Natalie Contreras of Columbia; sister: Yolanda (Alejandro) Martinez of Woodhaven, MI; niece: Andrea Martinez; and nephew: Alex Martinez both of Michigan.

Pallbearers will be: Rogelio Contreras, James Contreras, Natalie Contreras, Yolanda Martinez, Shane Hickman, and Josh Brawner.
