Shannon Lee Luke

October 1, 1970 - June 11, 2018

Shannon Lee Luke, age 47, a resident of Columbia, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018 at NHC Columbia.

A visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-8PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on October 1, 1970 in Pulaski, Shannon was the daughter of Connie Slaten Olmstead and the late Jimmy Olmstead. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Columbia State Community College and most recently worked in the medical field doing case management duties. Shannon previously was employed at Maury Regional Medical Center for several years and for numerous different nursing homes throughout Columbia. She was a very family oriented lady who especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and loved her dogs, Tanner and Izzy.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her significant other: Joe Dale III of Columbia; sons: Riley (Holly) Luke of Ethridge, Zachery Dale of Columbia; sister: Elizabeth Olmstead; brothers: Jamie (Melanie) Olmstead, Josh Olmstead, Joe Olmstead; grandchildren: Rebecca Dale, Gavin Luke, Gunner Luke; and several nieces and nephews.
