Kaye Hamlett

March 9, 1954 - June 6, 2018

Sandra Kaye Hamlett, age 64, a resident of Lawrenceburg, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Crockett Hospital.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 15th at 6pm in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home.  The family will visit with friends from 4pm until the 6pm service.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Kaye was born in Maury County in 1954 and was the daughter of the late Edward Johnson and the late Ruth Hobbs Johnson.  She graduated from Lynnville High School in 1972 and was of the Baptist faith.  She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandkids.

She is survived by her son: Cole Cooper (Brooke) of Ethridge; daughters: Crystal Hamlett and Norissa Hamlett, both of Lawrenceburg; brothers: Ray (Karen) Johnson of Culleoka, Jerry (Doris) Johnson of Columbia, and Ricky Johnson of Columbia; grandchildren: Abby Hamlett Counts, Taylor “Jade” Deblasio, Kallie Cotten, Edward Hamlett, Tori Cotton, Lindsey Hamlett, Gavin Smith, and Harrison Smith; great grandchildren:  Michaela Helfin and Hayden Helfin.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Norris “Rooster” Hamlett; brother: Larry Johnson; and grandchild: Anna Deblasio.
