Mary McCaleb Vick

May 11, 1925 - June 7, 2018

Mary McCaleb Vick, age 93, a resident of Columbia, passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held on Friday at 1:30 PM at Polk Memorial Gardens with Landon Vick officiating. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on May 11, 1925 in Hickman County, Mary was the daughter of the late Baker McCaleb and the late Irene Edwards McCaleb Cochran. She was of the Church of Christ faith. Mary loved her family, especially her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her sons: Don (Donna Kay) Vick of Franklin, Douglas Baker Vick (Carla Sue Mangum) of Columbia; brother: Roy (Joyce) Cochran of Centerville; sister: Bobbie (Jack) Lowery of Centerville; step brothers: Edward Cochran and Otis Cochran; step sister: Sarah Hill; grandchildren: Matt (Lily) Vick, Scott Vick, Laura (Tim) Love and Landon (Kandice) Vick; nine great grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Georgia McCaleb, Ellen McCaleb; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Paul Vick; sister: Louise Banks; and brothers: Clyde, Thomas, and Hubert McCaleb.
