Jack R. Stone

October 11, 1935 - June 3, 2018

Jack Robert Stone, born on October 11, 1935 in Hazelhurst, Wisconsin to the late Clara Stone and the late Lester Stone, passed away at age 82 on June 3, 2018.

From 1952 to 1974, Jack served in the Air Force and retired as a Senior Master Sergeant. After that he was in insurance sales until 1983 and was a weather forecaster at the National Weather Service until retiring again in 1991. Jack was the beloved husband of Judith R. Stone.

He was preceded in death by his son Mark Stone. Jack is survived by his sons John (Becky) Stone and Paul (Christine) Stone; daughters Karen (Scott) Evans and Denise Szymanski; and grandchildren Daniel Stone, Christopher Brooks, Jacob Stone, Stephen Stone, Dana Stone, Alex Stone, Brandon Evans, Sydney Evans, Jack Stone and Nate Stone.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Peterson Foundation for Parkinson's.

Friends and family members may attend the visitation on Friday, June 8 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. immediately followed by a memorial service at Franklin First United Methodist Church, 120 Aldersgate Way, Franklin, Tennessee, 37069 officiated by Dr. A. Lynn Hill." Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia is assisting the family with arrangements.
