James Weber

April 27, 1940 - May 30, 2018

Mr. James “Jim” Weber, age 78, husband of Maria Ordos Weber, and a resident of Claremont Drive in Columbia, passed away Wednesday afternoon, May 30, 2018 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 11AM at Maury Memorial Gardens with Rev. James Maddox officiating. A visitation will also be held on Monday from 9-11AM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on April 27, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan, Jim was the son of the late Frank Weber and the late Vera Ambrose Weber. He served his country in the United States Air Force and previously worked as a meat cutter. Jim was a member of Straightway Christian Center and married Maria on March 16, 2012. Jim enjoyed working around the house and doing yard work. He also enjoyed golfing and reading.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons: Jimmy (Sue) Black of Columbia, Jerry (Bonnie) Black of Michigan; daughter: Katie Wilkin of Mayfield, KY; sister: Carol Caldwell of Michigan; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
