Forrest E. Williams, Jr.

March 1, 1936 - May 22, 2018

Mr. Forrest E. Williams, Jr. age 82, a resident of Lewisburg, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

There will be a memorial service on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at 1:00 pm at LifeSong Family Church, 1041 S. Ellington Parkway, Lewisburg, TN . Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on March 1, 1936 in Hamilton, Alabama Forrest was the son of the late Forrest E. Williams, Sr. and the late Oma Holley Williams. He served his country in the United States Army and worked as a general contractor for Turner Construction Company in Florida before retiring. He spent his entire life in construction work, building hotels and sky scrapers. After a stroke, he still continued doing carpentry work. Above all, Forrest loved his family and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his daughters, Rebecca (Don) Blackall of Lewisburg and Michele (Rob) Willingham of Florida, eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren; four brothers, and one sister. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, C. Delores Williams.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Life Song Family Church food ministry in Lewisburg, Tennessee.
