Kimberly “Kim” Kaye Ketchum Wells, age 46, a resident of Columbia, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 20, 2018.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-8PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on December 28, 1971 in Maury County, Kim was the daughter of Sarah Reed Mitchell and the late Neal Ketchum. She was educated in Maury County Schools and had most recently worked as a caregiver. Kim was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially loved her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son: Josh Ketchum of Jackson; daughter: Summer Ketchum of Columbia; brother: Travis (Lee Ann) Ketchum of Culleoka; sister: Tracy (C.J. Harbison) Crain of Columbia; husband: Jackie Wells; grandchildren: Damian Ketchum, Trent Kelley, Paxton Kelley, Carter Beckum, Payton Kelley; nieces: Brandi Crain, Shelby Crain, Casey Jones, Ashley Jones, Jessica Brumit; and nephews: Aaron Ketchum, Chase Brooks, and Andrew Brumit.
Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her sister: Cindy Ketchum Brooks; maternal grandparents: Ruby & Irvin Reed; and paternal grandparents: Paul & Marie Tomlinson.
Pallbearers will be: C. J. Harbison, Aaron Ketchum, Jonathan Stephens, Evan Collins, Ricky Reed, Steve Carroll, and Timothy Dale.
