Ivy Libby Shultz

September 17, 1954 - April 23, 2018

Ivy Libby Murph Shultz, age 63, resident of Lewisburg, passed away on Monday, April 23, at her home.

A celebration of life service for Ms. Shultz will be held on Friday, April 27 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral in Columbia with Rick Stephens officiating. The family will visit with friends one hour before the service. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born September 17, 1954 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Paul Edward Earl Murph and Ruby R. Riley Murph. She worked as a waitress in the restaurant services. Ms. Shultz loved feeding birds and taking care of animals and had always dreamed of being a veterinarian. She wrote poetry and had written a poem called the Family Chain for her mother when she passed.

She is survived by a son: Brandon (Teniesha) Medlin; Sisters: Kathy Childress, Brenda Murph and Rickie Ann Lanbeck; grandchildren: Kourtney Medlin, Brittney Medlin, Brandon Paul Medlin II, Madison Medlin and Jennifer Medlin; brother: Robert Murph; step grandchildren: James Christopher Brooks and Waylon Isaas Brooks; her caregivers: James and Lexus Danielle Brooks.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: Marion Landers.
