Mr. Lee Patrick Wood, age 67, a resident of Columbia, passed away Friday evening, April 20, 2018 at his residence.

A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday at 4PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Lee was born on November 10, 1950 in Georgia and was the son of the late Louie and Frances Wood. He worked most of his life on a farm alongside his best friend, Jim Hunt Holmes. He enjoyed horseback riding, collecting firearms, and watching movies.

He is survived by his son: Lee Wood, Jr. of California; and long time best friend: Jim Hunt Holmes of Columbia.
