Better known as “Dirt Man” by many in Middle Tennessee, David was born on February 28, 1969 in Bryson City, North Carolina. He was the son of Helen Stewart Anderson and the late Aquilla Phillips. He married Missy on February 4, 1998 and together they had two children. David was a faithful member of Spring Meadows Church of Christ in Spring Hill. He worked 30 years in the construction business and was currently working at Alston Construction in Nashville. A great sense of humor, David was a loving husband and father who was very active in his children’s lives. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Rejoice for me! As my eyes close on this earth for the final time, they will reopen in Paradise with my Savior, Jesus Christ. DP 12-16-09.
