Christy C. Rhodes

June 7, 1968 - March 8, 2018

Christy C. Rhodes, age 49, a resident of Culleoka, passed away Thursday morning, March 8, 2018 at her residence.

The family will celebrate her life with services at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on June 7, 1968 in Rutherford County, Christy was the daughter of the late William Rhodes and the late Nancy Davidson Rhodes. She was a graduate of Columbia Central High School and attended two years at Columbia State Community College. Her biggest hobby was spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Her children explained that her calling and purpose in her life was raising them. Besides her work as a homemaker, she enjoyed going on cruises and taking visits to the beach.

She is survived by her sons: Brandon (Monica) Sandrell of College Grove, David Beckenbach of College Grove; daughter: Kayla Rhodes (fiancé Josh Brown) of Culleoka; former husband and friend: Ray Beckenbach of Columbia; brother: Dwight Rhodes of Hawaii; sisters: Beatrise Rhodes of Murfreesboro, Tacey (David) Osborne of Columbia, Tara Rhodes of Columbia; and four grandchildren: Mason, Ivarithane, Maddox, and Kelsey.
