Shirley Jean Graff Crain, age 75, a resident of Culleoka, passed away Wednesday evening, February 28, 2018 at her residence.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Eddie Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Eternity in Maury Memorial Gardens, adjacent to the funeral home. A visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8PM and again on Saturday from 12-1PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on May 19, 1942 in River Rouge, Michigan, Shirley was the daughter of the late Charles Graff and the late Sarah Tucker Graff. She was devoted to her family and loved them all dearly, especially her grandchildren and great grandchild. Shirley was a member of Parkway Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and listening to gospel music. Shirley earned the CB Handle, Popcorn from when she escorted her husband, Wayne, as he transported mobile homes. She also enjoyed going out to eat and spending time on the Tennessee River.
Shirley is survived by her daughters: Tammy (Jerry) Tuttle of Culleoka, Julie (Gene) Hight of Columbia, Malinda England of Culleoka; sister: Margaret Wilder of Culleoka; grandchildren: Tyler (Kanya) Crain of Columbia, Tate Crain of Columbia, Matthew Hight of Columbia, John Hight of Columbia, Triston Jenkins of Culleoka, Stacey Lewis of Culleoka; great grandson: Mason Crain; and beloved dog: Izzy.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Wayne Crain; son: Dwayne Crain; daughter: Rebecca Crain; and daughter-in-law: Rhonda Crain.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Hight, John Hight, Triston Jenkins, Tyler Crain, Tate Crain, and Jerry Layne.
