Lois Elaine Rue

February 6, 1923 - February 16, 2018

Lois Elaine Rue, age 95, a resident of Columbia, passed away Friday morning, February 16, 2018 at Signature Healthcare.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday at 4PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Points officiating. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on February 6, 1923 in Ionia, Michigan, Lois was the daughter of the late William Lovell Wingrove and the late Hattie May Eymer Wingrove. In her younger years, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, needlepoint and cross stitching. When she lived in Arizona, she enjoyed volunteering with the meals on wheels. She enjoyed traveling and loved her very special dog, Sam.

She is survived by her grandchildren: Keith McCall, Kimberly McCall; great grandchildren: Karter, Brooklyn, and Gage McCall; and great great grandchild: Carter McCall.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband: Thomas McCall and second husband: Kenneth Rue.
