Richard Eugene Ransom

October 20, 1955 - January 30, 2018

Mr. Richard Ransom, age 62, a resident of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Mt. Pleasant Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Richard was born October 20, 1955 in Nashville, Tennessee and was the son of the late Ernest Brown and the late Maggie Louise Perkins.  He attended Carver-Smith High School.  Some of his hobbies included fishing and carpentry.  He especially liked roofing.

He is survived by his brothers: David Ransom of Columbia, Vernon (Peggy) Ransom of Columbia, and Johnny Ransom of Vancouver; and sister: Louise Scribner;

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his sister: Veronica McGill.
