James Roscoe Elliot Young

November 28, 2017 - January 23, 2018

James Roscoe Elliot Young, two month old infant son of Jordan Devonte Young and Haley Marie Gateley, went to be in the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, January 23, 2018.

A funeral service will be held on Friday at 1PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Paul Bauer officiating. Burial will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens. A visitation will also be held on Friday from 11AM-1PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his twin brother: Christopher Maverick Young; brother: Jordan Reece Young; maternal grandparents: Sheri & Bill Lovan of Columbia; paternal grandparents: Darrell Young & Dewonna White of Columbia; maternal great grandmother: Marie Stephens of Columbia; great aunt: Karen Stephens of Columbia; aunts and uncles: Stanley Michael (Brohnwyn) Gateley of Columbia, James Wesley Gateley of Columbia, Bradley Roscoe (Carissa) Gateley of Columbia, Sheliah (Chris) McKnight of Mt. Pleasant, Demontre Cooper of Columbia, Trevor Luffman of Lawrenceburg, Christopher (Rachel) Young of Columbia, Austin (Destiny) Bumpas of Columbia, Jamie Luffman of Lawrenceburg, Darrea (Dustin) Young of Lewisburg, and Devin Young of Columbia.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother: Alice Zubieta; and maternal great grandfather: Roscoe Stephens.
