Kristina Connelly

Kristina R. Connelly, age 31, a resident of Columbia, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Rex Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Swiss Cemetery in Hohenwald. A visitation will be held on Friday from 3-7PM at the funeral home in Columbia. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on July 14, 1986 in Maury County, Kristina was the daughter of Wayne Eric Connelly and Rebecca Lyn Pope Connelly. She was a graduate of Lewis County High School. Kristina enjoyed horses and reading, Anime and Unicorns, but especially loved spending time with the ones who loved her.

Throughout her life Kristina fought many battles but had a deep determination to live. She was always smiling no matter how rough her battle and never wanted anyone to feel sorry for her. She was proud that God let her live fourteen years past when the doctors predicted. Kristina has finally made it to her Heavenly home with her Lord.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her paternal grandparents: Gary & Nancy Connelly of Columbia; maternal grandfather: Fred Pope of IL; brothers: Aaron Connelly of Spring Hill, Jacob Connelly of Columbia; and sisters: Caitlin Connelly and Alaina Connelly of Columbia.

She was preceded in death by her sister: Emily Connelly; uncles: Sean Connelly, Howard Pope; and maternal grandmother: Gwendolyn Pope.

Pallbearers will be: Alan Connelly, Casey Connelly, Antoni Wojcik, Conner Pope, Frank Izaguirre, and Jaime Barnes.
