Beulah Annette Akins

July 28, 1968 - January 15, 2018

Beulah Annette Akins, age 49, a resident of Columbia, passed away Monday morning, January 15, 2018 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 4PM in the Hunter Room of Heritage Funeral Home. A visitation will also be held on Saturday from 3-4PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on July 28, 1968 in Nashville, Beulah was the daughter of the late Clifford Troutt and the late Carolyn Ann Akins Troutt. She enjoyed cooking and watching movies, as well as, getting dressed up and trying different hair styles. Above all, she loved her family.

She is survived by her children: Cortesha Kohler of Bethpage, TN, Christopher Hudson of Gallatin, Charles Hudson of Gallatin, Corey (Ciarra) Akins of Columbia, Jasmine Akins of Mississippi, Courtney Akins of Knoxville; siblings: Holly (Gustavo) Vazquez of Columbia, Cynthia Troutt of Columbia, David (Rachel) Troutt of Gallatin, Aaron (Melissa) Trout of Nashville; grandchildren: Ayden Kohler, Caydence Akins; nieces and nephews: Ana Palomo, Mauricio Palomo, Elizabeth Hernandez, Miguel Troutt, Nicholas Peraza; and several other nieces and nephews.
