Ann Hill Lentz, age 84, a resident of Thomas Avenue in Columbia, passed away Thursday evening, December 28, 2017 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 12PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 10AM until the 12PM service at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on April 11, 1933 in Maury County, Ann was the daughter of the late William “Bill” Hill and the late Louise Gooseby Hill. She was a member of Highland Church of Christ. Ann enjoyed doing crafts, word searches, and paint by numbers. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

She is survived by her son: Mike (Patricia) Lentz of Columbia; daughter: Debbie (Tommy) Davis of Culleoka; son-in-law: Billy Pope of Columbia; ten grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death her husband: Harold Lentz; daughter: Patty Pope; and brothers: George Hill and Billy Hill.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Justin Pope, Steve Davis, Andy Davis, Shane Lentz, Brian Lentz, and Brenon Sanders.

The family would like to extend a very special thanks to Hospice Compassus for giving Ms. Lentz and her family all the tender love and care through the most difficult time in their lives.
