Norma L. Pierce, age 65, affectionally known as “Auntie”, and a resident of Nashville, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017 at Centennial Medical Center.
A Life Celebration service will be held on Thursday, December 28 at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to service time at the funeral home.
Born February 4, 1952 in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Ruben and Hattie Harris Pierce. Ms. Norma was a 1969 graduate of Central High School and attended Payne Chapel Methodist Church in Nashville. She worked as an accounting clerk for Proctor & Gamble. She enjoyed playing video games and hanging out with family and friends. She was a joy to be around, always full of life and brought a smile to everyone she met because she said she never met a stranger.
Ms. Norma is survived by her brother: Tony L. (Jacque) Pierce of Shiloh, IL; sisters: Wilma Miller of Nashville, Narcissus Owens of Columbia and Ruby A. Pierce of Stone Mountain, GA; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the American Heart Association.
