Mr. Wesley “Wes” Curtis Frye, age 68, husband of Donna Frye, and a resident of Thompsons Station, passed away Friday morning, December 15, 2017 at Tri Star Spring Hill.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Rick White officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Promise in Maury Memorial Gardens, adjacent to the funeral home. A visitation will be held on Monday from 4-7PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on June 30, 1949 in Franklin, Kentucky, Wes was the son of Donelda Buhl Frye and the late Benjamin Moss Frye. He served as deacon for several different churches over the years but was most recently a member of The Peoples Church in Spring Hill where he served as leader of “The Early Birds” small group. He graduated with a Bachelors in Zoology and a Masters in Natural Sciences Education from Oklahoma State University. Wes previously worked in supervisory and director roles in the fast food industry, including Long John Silvers, Chick-fil-a, and Restaurant Management Company. In the last eighteen years, he was a computer consultant and technologist for ParTech where he spent a lot of time traveling and teaching. Throughout his entire career, he was given several customer service recognition awards. Wesley also enjoyed going to lunch with his buddies and catching the sales at the grocery store, but his greatest hobby was his sons and grandchildren. He looked forward to picking up his granddaughters from school, and he never missed a soccer game!

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his sons: Brian Nathaniel (Heidi) Frye of Delaware, OH, Aaron Kyle (Mandy) Frye of Spring Hill, TN; grandchildren: Ian Joel, Scott Ethan, Connor Joseph, Laney Autumn, and Revelly Grace Frye; brothers: Wayne (Kathleen) Frye of Moore, OK, William Dwight (Donna) Frye of Farmers Branch, TX, Jesse Frye of Pensacola, FL, Warren (Kerry) Frye of Cape Coral, FL; and sisters: Wonetta Frye of Edmond, OK and Wilma (Steve) Bunch of Rogers, MO.

Pallbearers will be: Brian Frye, Aaron Frye, Warren Frye, Dwight Frye, Kevin Frye, Labon Tatum, Dustin Stanfield, and Jeff Randolph. Honorary pallbearers will include: Ken Grodi, Tom Bates, and Wayne Frye.
