Mr. Tony Lee McGaw, age 68, husband of Katherine Gregg McGaw and a resident of Spring Hill, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at his residence.

A graveside service will he held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 2PM in the Garden of Freedom at Maury Memorial Gardens. Military honors will be provided by the Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017 from 4-7PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

A native of Maury County, Tony was born on October 7, 1949 and was the son of the late Norman Dozier McGaw and the late Bertha Brewer McGaw. He was a 1969 graduate of Spring Hill High School and served his country in the United States Army. Tony married Katherine Gregg on November 14, 1984. He worked many years making and installing cabinets. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Tony loved his family, especially his grandchildren, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his wife Katherine of 33 years, he is survived by his sons: Charles (Rhonda) McGaw of Spring Hill, Jimmy McGaw (Faith Staggs) of Columbia, Dakota McGaw of Spring Hill; brothers: Norman Wayne (Honor) McGaw of Cumberland Furnace, Kenneth Ray McGaw of Columbia; sister: Vicky Fry of Spring Hill; grandchildren: Madison, Maggie, Jamie, and Alex McGaw; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son: Tony Lee McGaw, Jr. and brother: Steven Thomas McGaw.
