Mrs. Nancy Sue Darby Waugh, age 68, wife of Larry Michael Waugh, and a resident of Lynnville, TN, passed away Wednesday evening, November 29, 2017 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 1PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Randy Summers and Barry Fralix officiating. Entombment will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, adjacent to the funeral home. A visitation will also be held on Saturday from 10AM-1PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on July 7, 1949 in Ashland, KY, Nancy was the daughter of the late James H. Darby and the late Catherine Bayless Darby. She worked as a bookkeeper, accountant, and office manager for Tennessee Beef Industry Council and was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Pulaski. She married Larry Michael Waugh on May 30, 1967 and together they had two children. Nancy enjoyed gardening and traveling, but most of all, she loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons: Michael Daniel (Lori) Waugh of Columbia, Shane (Jaimie) Waugh of Lynnville; brother: David (Amy) Darby of Ashland, KY; sisters: Patricia (Don) Fisher of Lexington, KY, Grace (Bill) Moore of Ashland, KY, Jenny McDowell of Ashland, KY, Lou Catherine (Randy) Summers of Ohio; and grandchildren: Anna Waugh, Olivia Waugh, and Bryce Anderson.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother: Sherman Henry.
Pallbearers will be: Bryce Anderson, Michael Waugh, Shane Waugh, David Darby, Sherman Henry, Brett Henry, and Todd Childers.
