Joaquin Munoz Camargo

October 24, 1962 - October 27, 2017

Joaquin Camargo, age 55, a resident of Spring Hill, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017 due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Panama City Beach, Florida.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 2PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Ernie Loera officiating. A visitation will also be held on Saturday from 12-2PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on October 24, 1962 in San Fernando, CA Joaquin was the son of Frances Munoz Camargo and the late Jose Camargo. He enjoyed watching football, especially the Oakland Raiders and was an avid Oakland Athletics Baseball fan. He loved riding motorcycles, fishing and traveling, but especially loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother: Joe Camargo; sister: Victoria (John) Gallegos; nieces and nephews: Salina (Sergio) Loera, Sabrina (Kendall) Vandiver, Johnny Gallegos, Stephanie Vaiz, Annette (Huero)Paynter; great nieces and nephews: Ashley, Renee, Alyssa Loera, Gabriel, Angel Montoya, Raymond, Angel, Julian (Savannah) Vaiz, Isabel, Joseph, Alonzo Paynter; and his favorite Chihuahua: Chuy.

Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Isabell Vaiz.

Pallbearers will be John Gallegos, John Gallegos IV, and Sergio Loera.
