Jo Ann  Brown Green age 72 of Columbia,  passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at St. Thomas Hospital West in Nashville..

There are no services or visitation scheduled at this time. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born January 20, 1945 in Maury County, TN to the late Lewis Wesley Brown and the late Alma Louise Peay Brown, Jo Ann was a 1964 graduate of Central High School. She worked for Mid State  Sharpton Insurance Company for 30 years and then retired as a desk clerk from Richland Inn with 14 years of service. She loved relaxing and watching her favorite TV shows. Jo Ann was always happy and never disliked anyone.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by two sons; Donald Green and James Green Jr. both of Columbia.
