Glenn Gilmore

July 15, 1940 - October 3, 2017

Clarence “Glenn” Gilmore passed away at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday October 3, 2017 after battling bladder cancer at the age of 77.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00am October 14, 2017 at Tusculum Church of Christ Chapel, 6117 Nolensville Pike, Nashville, TN 37211, with Mike Beck officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until the service hour at 11:00am at the church. Heritage Funeral Home of Columbia, TN in charge of all arrangements.

Glenn a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and friend, was adored by all who knew him. He was born July 15, 1940 to the late Archie Clarence Gilmore and the late Edna Pauline Massey Gilmore.

Mr. Gilmore is survived by his wife of 48 years Cynthia Beatty Gilmore, daughter Kimberly Gilmore Beck, son-in-law Mike Beck who has been like a son to Glenn, grandson Elliott Clarence Beck, daughter Melissa Diane Gilmore, David Stevens and Jourdan. Also, his sisters Sandra Gail Purkett (Rod) and Judith Ann Johnson (Ron), nieces Angie Owen, Connie Hitt, Meredith Johnson and nephews Anthony Ford and Chris Hallums.
