Mrs. Ethel I. Brownlow Webster, 69, resident of Columbia, passed away on Thursday, September 28th at her residence.
A funeral service for Mrs. Webster will conducted at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 7th in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Donald Webster officiating. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Friday, October 6th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born November 4, 1947 in Mt. Pleasant, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Brownlow II and late Carrie Armstrong Brownlow. She married the late Thomas Edmondson Webster on December 27, 1965. She was a graduate of Clark High School and Columbia State Community College. She attended Flint Valley Primitive Baptist Church, but was a longtime member of Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church. She worked as a seamstress for TN Knitting Mills and at home, she made clothing for all of her family. Her children and grandchildren were the love of her life.
Mrs. Webster is survived by her children: Kelvin Webster of Spring Hill, Clifford Dudley of Nashville, and Lucrettia L. Webster of Columbia; brother: Ronald Browlow of Atlanta, GA; sister: Gloria Jordan of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren: Malik Webster, Mia Dudley Marshall, and Shaquille Dudley; and great grandchild: Jaden Marshall.
Her nephews will serve as pallbearers.
