Mrs. Carolyn Lee Schwartz Milner, age 59, a resident of Columbia, passed away Tuesday morning, September 26, 2017 at her residence.

Carol's family will be hosting a private celebration at the "family home" on Sunday, October 2, 2017. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

She was born on January 27, 1958 in Lewisburg, TN and was the daughter of the late Andrew Schwartz and the late Edna Sue Hickman Schwartz.

Carol's love of peace, music, and unconventional dress was only surpassed by the unbounded unconditional love for her children Jesse Milner, Angela (Walter) Holt and her grandchildren Mackenzie, Savanah, and Devin Holt Carol was diagnosed with metastatic colon cancer in early 2016. She completed many appointments and treatments with Dr. Messenger and his team with courage and dignity.

Carol's last appointment is one she will not be returning from. This appointment has a huge sign on bonus, a reunion with her father, mother, and many friends and family she hasn't seen in a long time.

Carol wishes peace, joy and happiness for her five siblings Margaret, Susan, Andrew, Rose, Gerri, many nieces and nephews, dear friend Bryan Boatwright, and ex-husband Russ Milner.

Hospice Compassus, Heritage Funeral Home, her sisters and brother-in-law Gerri Schwartz, Rose Schwartz and Tim Goar assisted her in getting ready for this final appointment with precious love and tender care.
