Barbara Faye King

Mrs. Barbara Faye King, age 60, resident of Lewisburg, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017 at her residence.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in Ring Cemetery in the Rally Hill Community of Maury County. A visitation will be held on Monday from 4-8PM and again on Tuesday from 12-1PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on March 14, 1957 in Murfreesboro, Barbara was the daughter of Peggy A. Stem Bly and the late James A. Dyer. She married Andy King on December 7, 2007, but they were together for a total of 27 years. Barbara worked as an office manager for the Marshall County Health Department for 30 years. She was a Christian woman who loved God and church. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and old country music. She was a strong and caring woman who raised her grandson, Jonathan Michael King. Barbara was always there for anyone who needed her and she will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her sons: Chris (Britany) Childress of Lewisburg, Timothy (Lisa) Childress of McMinnville, James (Britany) King of Lewisburg, Andy (Robin) King of Lewisburg; daughter: Celia King of Lewisburg; brothers: Albert Roger (Elizabeth) Dyer of Lebanon, George W. Haynes, Jr. of Lebanon, Danny Lee Haynes of McMinnville, Clifton Dyer of Lewisburg, Jimmy (Kathy) Dyer of Shelbyville; and thirteen grandchildren.
Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her sister: Peggy Jean Haynes Carter.
Pallbearers will be: James A. King, Jr., Chris Childress, Jimmy Dyer, Gary Carter, Reece Taylor, Sean Daniels, Jerry Lee Wright, and Robert McKinzie.
