Zana Kay Goats

January 22, 1952 - August 31, 2017

Zana Kay Hickman Goats, age 65, resident of Lewisburg, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 3rd at 2PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Points officiating.  Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.  The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 4-8PM at the funeral home.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Zana was born January 22, 1952 in Marshall County and was the daughter of the late Ollie Smith Hickman and the late Ethel Estell Seagroves Hickman. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.  She enjoyed putting puzzles together but most of all she loved spending time with her family especially with her nieces, nephews, and granddaughter.

Zana is survived by her daughters: Tammy Oneal of Lewisburg and Stacy (Danny) Griggs of Friendsville, TN; brothers: Robert (Margaret) Hickman of Columbia, Jerry (Georgia) Hickman of Mt.Pleasant, Eddie Hickman of Cornersville, Larry Hickman of Lewisburg, and Wayne Hickman of Lewisburg; sisters: Edna (Jimmy) Inabnitt, Marie Puryear, Betty Barron, Kathy (Tony) Skinner, and Connie Carter, all of Lewisburg; grandchild: Kaniya Griggs of Friendsville; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Dennis Hickman.

Pallbearers will be Matt West, Tony Skinner, Jerry Hickman, Robert Hickman, Wayne Hickman, and Jimmy Inabnitt.
