Susan Lynn Reece

Susan Lynn Reece, age 59, a resident of Columbia, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Signature Healthcare of Columbia.

A Memorial Service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Points officiating. Visitation will be from 12-2 PM.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Susan was born on January 7, 1958 in Maury County, TN and was the daughter of the late Charlie Goatz and the late Betty Blythe Childrey. She was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church, and was a self employed housekeeper. She made dream catchers with mandala images. She enjoyed dancing and was a fan of Alan Jackson. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by sons; Josh Balcewicz and John Reece brother; Mike Goatz (Sis) of Columbia, grandson; Jonathan Reece, nieces; Stacey Goatz, Kristy Goatz, Lori Goatz and Ginger Dunn, nephews; Ryan Goatz, Mark Goatz and Charlie Goatz.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers; Charlie “Butch” Goatz, Dennis Goatz and Phillip Goatz, and a nephew; Jay Goatz.
