Susan Marie Steves, age 63, a resident of Columbia, passed away Friday, August 25, 2017 at her home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 1PM at Church of the City in Spring Hill, TN with a visitation from 11AM-1PM at the church. An additional Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 4PM at Kup-A-Joe Café: 41 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 with a visitation from 3:30-4PM at the Café. Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia, TN is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on November 2, 1953 in Chicago, IL, Susan was the daughter of Robert Frank Preattle and the late Lena DiCianni Preattle. She was a member of The Church of the City in Spring Hill, a former server for Kup-A-Joe Café in Frankfort, IL.”She loved others”. After a fight, she lost her battle with brain and lung cancer. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughters: Christine Miller (Rev. J.T.) of Hanover Park, IL, Stacey Glass (Eric) of Columbia and, two grand children; Rachel and Ethan and several cousins.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Steve Preattle.

The family is partnering with a radio show called The Bucket List Radio Show to award a terminally ill person the ability to cross something off their bucket list like so many people helped Susan do.
