Marshel Dewayne Anderson, age 33, resident of Santa Fe, passed away Saturday, August 5 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Born February 9, 1984 in Williamson County, he was the son of Marshel and Sandra Humphrey Anderson. Marshel worked as a truck driver for Huskey-Truss in Murfreesboro and was a member of Goshen United Methodist Church. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and spending a lot of time cutting firewood to sell to anyone who needed it. He loved to be with his family, especially his children, and enjoyed the outdoors.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 7 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Bowers officiating. Burial will follow in the Goshen United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children: Chloe Brooke Anderson and Marshel Todd Anderson; sister: Ashlee (Eddie) James; grandparents: W.B. and Dot Anderson of Spring Hill; aunt and uncles: Libby Davis, Barbara and Ronnie Blackburn, Wayne and Glenda Clark, Larry and Rhonda Humphrey, Jerry Humphrey, John and Inez Burkett, Butch and Cheryl Bryant, Steve and Pam Anderson and Mike Anderson; niece: Reese James; several cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: James and Ethel Humphrey.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Humphrey, Tanner Warf, Brandon Jones, Jeremy Hedrick, Steven Anderson, Eddie James, John Burkett and Jack Fitzgerald.
