Jé French

October 15, 1975 - June 12, 2017

Jé French, age 41, wife of Barry French, and a resident of Spring Hill, passed away Monday evening, June 12, 2017 at her residence.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 1PM at Heritage Funeral Home with John Diffenderfer and Nathein Perkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Unity in Maury Memorial Gardens adjacent to the funeral home. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 4-8PM and again on Saturday from 12-1PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on October 15, 1975 in Hopkinsville, KY, Jé was the daughter of Fred Hill and Annalu Boatwright Hill. She was a member of Mercy Collective in Nashville and earned her Master’s Degree from Biblical Life College & Seminary. She married her husband, Barry, on May 30, 1996. She was incredibly artistic and worked as a graphic designer. Jé enjoyed sci-fi, reading, studying, and teaching. She was a kind and friendly woman with a great sense of humor and a warm and inviting laugh. Stray cats adopted her, and she enjoyed taking care of them and loving them. She truly loved God and worshipped Him with all her heart, mind, body, and soul. She fought a brave and hard fight all the way up to the very end. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her husband and parents, she leaves behind to cherish her memory her brothers: Rodney Hill of Washington, Rich (Melissa) Hill of North Carolina; brother-in-law, Floyd French of Kentucky; father and mother-in-law, Dale & Janice French of Kentucky; nephews: Ben Hill, Chance French, Tristan French; and niece, Lydia (Adam) Eagle.

Pallbearers will be: Rodney Hill, Rich Hill, John Diffenderfer, Nathein Perkins, Dave Campbell, and Jason Reazin. Honorary pallbearers will include: Karen Steinhauer, Diane Jackson, Emily Frazier, Carla Harper, Nicole Hagood, Melissa Rising, Kelly Campbell, and Nicole Reazin.
