Christopher J. Brown

Mr. Christopher J. Brown, age 42, a resident of Columbia, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1PM at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Columbia with Rev. Kenny Anderson officiating. A visitation will also be held on Tuesday from 12-1PM at the church. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on April 23, 1975 in Memphis, TN Christopher was the son of Willie Brown and Addie Lewis Brown. He was of the Baptist faith and worked in tech support for IBEX Global. Christopher loved all sports, especially football and the Dallas Cowboys.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife: Cassandra Brown of Columbia; sons: Bryson Brown, Christopher Parks; daughters: Tierra Brown, Jayla Brown; brother: Rico Brown; sisters: Alisa (Tony) Pegues, Willie Bibby, Tasha Brown, Sheree Brown; mother and father-in-law: Thomas & Vivian Jones; sister-in-law: Doretha (Jason) McClain; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Anthony Brown.
