David Jerome Cole

September 15, 1942 - April 30, 2017

Mr. David Jerome Cole, age 74, a resident of Franklin, TN, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017 at NHC Lewisburg.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 1PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Larry Hammond officiating. Burial will follow in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-8PM and again on Wednesday from 12-1PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on September 15, 1942 in Franklin, David was the son of the late Norman L. Cole, Sr. and the late Fannie Margaret Tomlin Cole. He was a member of Triune Apostolic Church. He worked at Williamson Recreation Center and retired from Kroger. He was a Nascar fan, and dearly loved his beloved dog, Missy.

He is survived by his brothers: Norman Cole (Michelle Flaherty) of Lafayette, Dwight Cole (Judy Baker) of Liepers Fork; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Cole; and brothers: Anthony Cole and Jimmy Cole.

Family and friends will serve active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will include: Triune Apostolic Church and employees of Williamson County Recreation Center.
