Greg Howell

July 1, 1974 - April 2, 2017

Gregory Dale Howell, age 42, a resident of Muscle Shoals, Alabama and formerly of Columbia, Tennessee passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 7th at 2PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Points officiating.  Burial will follow in Jones Cemetery.  The family will visit with friends on Friday from 12 noon until the 2PM service.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Greg was born July 1, 1974 in Maury County and was the son of the late Jennie Maebelle Fox Johnson.  He graduated from Central High School in 1994 and received a Bachelor of Science degree at Middle Tennessee State University.  He attended Christian Life Church.  He was an artist and could put anything together without even reading the instructions.  Greg liked electronics and even built the computers in their house.  He enjoyed golfing and grilling out. Greg will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife: Alison Holt Howell; daughters: Bella and Alena Howell; step father: Hershal Johnson; brother: Rick Howell of Columbia; step brothers: Dean Johnson and Lewis Johnson; sisters: Kathy Bell, Mary (Danny) Rogers, Sharon (Dale) Tomlin, Susan (Charles) Thigpen, and Cindy (Tim) Hickman; and step sister: Lavana (Sis) Deal.

Along with his mother, he is preceded in death by his sisters: Sheila Mayberry, Tammy Howell, and Linda Faye Howell.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Howell, Jason Tomlin, Casey Potts, Michael Potts, Jonas Bell, and Jeff Howell.  Honorary pallbearers will be Lucas Kairdolf, Jon Handley, Kris Burtner, Jay Jetsen, and Larry Holt.
