Nicole "Nicki" Benson

May 12, 1983 - March 18, 2017

Nicole “Nicki” Benson, age 33, a resident of Columbia, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Tennova Medical Center in Shelbyville.

An inurnment will be held on Wednesday at 2PM at Maury Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Rev. Mark Sartaine and Rev. Mike Giles officiating. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on May 12, 1983 in Danville, IL, Nicki was the daughter of Connie Conrad and the late Billy Conrad. She was of the Pentecostal faith and graduated from Culleoka High School. Nicki loved swimming, watching movies, and working puzzles with her family.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her fiancé: Jamar Bills; daughters: Skyla Benson, Devanie Benson, Shamarie “Bubbles” Bills; brothers: Billy Conrad, Jr., Joe Benson, Kevin Benson; sisters: Tammy Copsey, Chasidy Chapman; grandmothers: Treva Lauderdale and Millie Pribble; uncles: Billy Hill, Kevin Hill; and several aunts.

Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her brother: Jason Dodson; grandfathers: Thomas Prible, Kenny Conrad, Charles Hill, and Jesse Halfacre; and grandmother: Wanda Halfacre.
