William Dale Orton

November 25, 1946 - February 21, 2017

Mr. William Dale Orton, age 70, a resident of Murfreesboro, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg.

William was born November 25, 1946 in Lawrenceburg, TN and was the son of the late Avery Orton and the late Elizabeth Miller Orton.  He enjoyed fishing, boating, and playing billiards.  He loved the water and especially liked riding his Harley Davidson Roadster.

He is survived by his daughter: Shannon Clark of Anderson, AL; brothers: Robert Orton of Lawrenceburg, TN and Harold (Charlotte) Orton of Lawrenceburg, TN; and grandchildren: Dusty Dillion, Summer Clark, Christy Hilliard, and Tristan Clark; and four great grandchildren.
