C. David Harmon

June 4, 1940 - February 13, 2017

C. David "Tack" Harmon, 76, resident of Bradenton, FL and Columbia, TN passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017 in Columbia, TN following a short illness.

A ceremonial mass will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 11AM at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Columbia with Father Davis Chackaleckel officiating. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 25th from 10-11AM at the church. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

He was a 1957 graduate of Spring Hill High School, earned a BS from the University of Tennessee, and a degree in Banking from the University of Wisconsin. David's work career included Commerce Union Bank, Business Machines Inc., Sales Tax Auditor for the State of Tennessee and Farmers and Merchants Bank for sixteen years. Memberships included: Columbia Jaycees, and he was a Charter member of Knights of Columbus at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Columbia where he held a position as the Financial Officer.

His parents were the late Robert Lee Harmon and Lois Brown Warren of Spring Hill, TN. And his step-father Buddy Warren. Survivors include his wife of almost 55 years, Jean Cotter Harmon; daughters: Darlene (Ronnie) Pruitt and Diana Hatcher, both of Columbia; sons: Tom (Robin) Harmon of Gallatin, TN and William (Stephanie) Harmon of Columbia; sister: Elaine Warren (Alan) Miller of West Columbia, SC and brother William (Susan) Warren of Lobelville, TN; nine grandchildren: Penny Hood Green, Eddie Pruitt, Brandon, Ross and Alex Harmon, Darold Hatcher, Holly Stoops, Robyn and Robbie Harmon; and eight great grandchildren: Meagan, Hannah, and Katherine Green, Harlan Hatcher, Trinity and Tristin Stoops, Brantley Fleeman and McKenzley Harmon. He was preceded in death by his brother Jesse Lee Harmon.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the family of Mr. C. David Harmon.
