Loretta Sandusky

February 6, 1949 - February 12, 2017

Loretta LaVergne Sandusky, age 68, passed at her home in Ethridge following a valiant battle with cancer.

A memorial service will be held on March 18th at 3PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Lawrenceburg. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Loretta was born in Toledo, Ohio on February 6, 1949 and was the daughter of the late John Myron and Dorothy Sophia Roming Sandusky. The family moved to Lawrence County when she was a young girl and she resided there most of her life.

Loretta was a unique person with a positive attitude. Her life vocation was to teach others about the Bible and her God, Jehovah. She loved and was loved by many people she met in Lawrence County during her life. Her last hour was spent making plans with one of her many Bible students. She will be missed.

Survivors include her beloved family of friends in the Lawrenceburg Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses; one brother: Eric (Linda) Sandusky of Columbia; two nephews: Shane (Gabriella) Sandusky of Columbia, Adam (Hannah) Sandusky of Murfreesboro; one niece: Julie (John) Gwaltney of Columbia; three great nephews; and one great niece.
