Marie Mae North

December 18, 1978 - January 10, 2017

Marie Mae North, age 38, a resident of Murfreesboro, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.

The family will hold private services at a later date.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Marie was born on December 18, 1978 and was the daughter of the late Dorris Ashford and Betty Ferguson of Rutherford County.  She had a beautiful, caring, kind, and loving soul.  She was always there through good and bad times for those who needed her.  She always smiled through her trials and tribulations.  She was a wonderful and brave friend to her brothers and sisters.  She was a bright, funny, smart, and strong woman.  She was proud to be a mother and excited to have been starting a life with her husband to be.  She will be greatly missed and loved always.

Along with her mother, she is survived by her children: Elise Farrar, David Farrar, and MacKenzie Farrar; fiancé: Brain Anderson; brothers: James, Dorris, Shane, and William Ashford; sisters: Shirley Lewis, Ruby Gibson, and Ashley Ashford; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents: “Slim” and Ruby Ashford and Burnis Ferguson and Shirley Cops; aunt: Jesse Mae Ferguson.
