Jeannie Young

January 6, 1951 - January 29, 2017

Martha Jeannie Young, age 66, a resident of Linden, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Perry County Nursing Home.

A service of remembrance will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Lobelville with Jimmy Andrews officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date at the Young Cemetery in Linden. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born January 6, 1950 in Lewisburg, TN, Jeannie was the daughter of the late Hal and Virginia Parker Huffine. She had worked for Frito-Lay and various other factories. She was a big sports enthusiast and she loved all animals, especially horses. She liked to listen to and sing music, her favorite being country.

Jeannie is survived by her sons: Dusty Young of Linden, Austin Young of Lobelville and Travis Young of Linden; daughter: Robin Burns of Seattle, WA; brothers: Wade Huffine of Colorado and Jay Huffine of Oregon.
