Delores McNairy

Delores McNairy, age 69, a resident of Columbia, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at her residence.

The family will celebrate her life with services at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on January 23, 1947 in Athens, Alabama, Delores was the daughter of the late William Clark and the late Evella Malone Clark. Besides her work as a homemaker and wonderful mother, she enjoyed fishing, cooking, and gardening. She also enjoyed being outdoors and sitting on her front porch drinking coffee.

She is survived by her sons: LaMarcus (Temika) McNairy of Florence, AL, Jermaine McNairy of Columbia; daughter: Lisa Cummins of Columbia; brothers: Mack Clark of Columbus, OH, Jerome Clark of Columbus, OH, Bobby Clark of Nashville; sister: Linda Clark of Englewood, CA; grandchildren: Asya Cummins, Courtland Cummins, Dorian Drake, Diamond McNairy, Cody McNairy, Janiya McNairy, Jace McNairy, Jordan McNairy; and great grandchildren: Ataesya and Taevion Cummins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Willie McNairy.
