Faye D. Wilhoite

December 8, 1957 - January 15, 2017

Mrs. Faye D. Wilhoite, age 59, wife of Douglas Wilhoite, and a resident of Columbia, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 at her residence.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Carroll Crosslin officiating. Burial will follow in Hazel Cemetery in Bell Buckle, TN. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-8PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on December 8, 1957 in Fresno, California, Faye was the daughter of the late James Keathley Richardson and the late Kemmie Faye Foster Richardson. She married Doug Wilhoite on December 8, 1999. Faye loved working as a dietician for Rosewood Manor where she worked for nine years and at Life Care Center in Columbia for several years before her health failed her. Faye was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church. She was an avid professional wrestling and Nascar fan. She also enjoyed flowers and being out in the yard.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Alex Trapp of Indiana, Leisha Wilhoite of Fayetteville, Krystal (Lamond) Nabors of Fayetteville, Terri Trapp of Indiana; and grandchildren: Marley Trapp and Maddison Nabors.

Pallbearers will be: Douglas Wilhoite, Alex Trapp, Lynn Mabee, Troy Dakoby, Larry Richardson, and Tim Richardson.
