Dylan James Trevino

January 15, 2004 - January 11, 2017

Dylan James Trevino, 12 year old son of Terry Kellum and Diana Trevino-Kellum, and a resident of Spring Hill, gained his wings and went to be with Jesus on January 11, 2017 just four days shy of his thirteenth birthday.

A funeral service for Dylan will be held on Saturday at 1PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor David Stewart and Pastor Telford Tharp officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8PM and again one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Dylan had a servant’s pure heart of gold who never met a stranger. He loved giving to others, whether that be to the homeless or to kids who were in need. He was quite the lady’s man who was extremely friendly and always had a smile on his face. Dylan especially loved being outdoors riding four wheelers, shooting guns, swimming, or grilling. He was a courageous and brave young boy who loved riding roller coasters and watching scary movies. Dylan also liked the holidays, especially Halloween. He loved all types of animals and enjoyed listening to music and cooking. Above all, Dylan loved his family unconditionally and will be deeply missed by all who knew, loved, and supported him.

In addition to his parents, Dylan is survived by his brothers: Steven Saul Trevino, Cameron Richard Trevino, Justin Blake Trevino; grandparents: Olga Trevino; Julie & Dave Davis; aunts: Lisa Trevino, Julianna Kellum; uncles: Richard Trevino, Jared Kellum, Darren Kellum; cousins: Mario Trevino, Lorenzo Trevino, Malia Trevino, Ava Marie Kellum, Finley Kellum, Gabrielle Roland, Brinkley Trevino, Silas Trevino; and his service dog: Zeus Trevino.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Richard Trevino, Terry Kellum, Sr.; and uncle: Mario Trevino.

Pallbearers will be: Steven, Cameron, Justin, Mario, Richard Trevino, and Terry Kellum. Honorary pallbearers will include: Mike “Fuzzy” Alderdice, Russell Manning, the Maury County Volunteer Fire Department, and the Al Menah Shriners.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Maury County Volunteer Fire Department: 127 Mapleash Avenue, Columbia, TN 38401 or the Al Menah Shriners: 1354 Brick Church Pike, Nashville, TN 37207.
