Mary Swift

Mary Louise Swift, age 97, a resident of the Farm in Summertown, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at her residence.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Colorado. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born June 5, 1919 in Moorestown, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Ruth Palmer Sharpless and wife of the late Charles Swift. She graduated from the Connecticut College and was a homemaker. Her hobbies were knitting and hiking all over the world in her travels. She loved photography, have compiled 25 albums of her family and her travels.

Mrs. Swift is survived by her children: Ken Swift, Steve Swift, Barb Bloomfield, Elizabeth Janeczek and Pat Swift; 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother: Hugh Swift.
